A woman entered Kamala Harris’ Malibu property without permission Friday night, and no arrest was made.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to the former vice president’s home at approximately 10:30 p.m. after the unauthorized entry was reported. Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were not on the property at the time.
Private security intercepted the woman before she reached the residence. According to Harris spokesman Eduardo Negrón, personnel stopped the individual at the perimeter, well short of the home itself.

Security personnel stopped an individual who illegally entered Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff’s property before the individual reached the home,” Negrón said. “Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff were not present. They are grateful to the security and law enforcement personnel who responded swiftly.
As originally reported, deputies from the Lost Hills sheriff’s station arrived and spoke with the unidentified woman outside the residence. She complied when asked to leave and walked away voluntarily.
No charges were filed and no arrest was made.
Harris lost the 2024 presidential election to Donald Trump after spending $1.5 billion on her campaign. She has maintained a lower public profile since leaving office, but the Malibu property incident has drawn renewed attention to the former vice president.
The identity of the woman who entered the property has not been released. Authorities have not indicated whether any follow-up action is planned.
