Bubba Watson stopped mid-round to confront a heckling fan on live camera.
It happened during the second round of LIV Golf Indianapolis at The Club in Chatham Hills. Watson was playing alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Lee Westwood when a fan began shouting from the gallery. The fan yelled “Bryson, Bryson” just as Westwood was preparing to approach his shot. Westwood stepped off his ball. Watson walked straight toward the fan.
What followed was captured on video and has since made the rounds online. Watson stood face to face with the fan and the crowd went quiet. The heckler, suddenly silent, had nothing to say.
Watson was not about to let it go.
“Oh, you don’t want to say anything now? Say something, I’m looking at ya, say it,” Watson told the fan directly.
