A woman was arrested outside the Lindsay Clancy murder trial courthouse for allegedly photographing jurors.
Dawn Light, 56, of Sutton, Massachusetts, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon by Massachusetts State Police. The arrest happened around 3:40 p.m. outside the Plymouth courthouse complex, where the high-profile Clancy trial is currently underway.
Light faces one count of intimidation of a witness, juror, or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. According to a report, she is accused of attempting to photograph members of the jury sitting on the Clancy case.
The arrest came shortly after the jury was dismissed for the day. Light is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
The Clancy trial has drawn significant public attention, and the courthouse in Plymouth has been a focal point throughout the proceedings. Tuesday’s arrest adds a serious new element to the already closely watched case.
