Art Garfunkel says he is thinking about leaving the United States because of President Donald Trump.
The 84-year-old folk legend made his feelings plain in a wide-ranging interview published on September 4th, timed to coincide with his return to touring. He said he does not like “America’s position at all,” citing Trump, climate change, and U.S. policy toward Venezuela as sources of deep frustration.
Garfunkel stopped short of naming a destination or setting any firm timeline. He made no concrete announcement about when or where he might go. But his discontent was clear enough.
