President Donald Trump said there’s “a lot of money coming in” as he updated Americans on the possibility of a tariff rebate check. Trump didn’t give much details, but he suggested there is some sort of “concept” being planned by the White House to give American citizens some kind of partial refund for all the contributions they’ve made.
Trump said, during a cabinet meeting: “We have a lot of money coming in. It’s coming in tremendous numbers. There’s a concept of making a dividend to the people of this country who have paid a lot of taxes and got nothing for it.”
Trump further said, Trump added: “There’s a possibility. Primarily we want to pay down debt, but there’s a possibility that we take a piece of it and make a dividend to the people,” as reported on The Express.
