Democrats deal with FBI's alleged coverup for Biden; GOP moves to hold Wray in CONTEMPT

The Democratic Party might be dealing with a major situation with President Joe Biden. The FBI is accused of covering up tracks leading to Joe Biden and his family as they face accusations of crimes. The GOP is also moving to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt. It was House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer who said his panel will push forward with proceedings against FBI Directory Christopher Wray, pushing the Democrats into quite a bind. The FBI says this move by Comer is 'unwarranted' according to a report on NBC News.

The report on NBC News further discussed how the FBI briefed Comer and Jamie Raskin, offering them a chance to review documents that supposedly describe an accusation in which Joe Biden accepted a bribe during his time as vice president to Barack Obama. The report continued:

Speaking to reporters outside the secure briefing site afterward, Comer said the "FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody" of the committee. "And we will now initiate contempt of Congress hearings this Thursday."

"FBI officials confirmed that the unclassified FBI-generated record has not been disproven and is currently being used in an ongoing investigation," he said.

Raskin told reporters he wasn’t aware of an ongoing investigation, but he said he’s also “not privy” to some information accessible to Comer. He said he knows there have been published reports about an ongoing investigation in Delaware by the U.S. attorney related to the president's son Hunter Biden.

Hunter Biden faces numerous accusations and allegations after his alleged laptop data leak. He also has a child with a former dancer and President Joe Biden constantly ignores the granddaughter's existence. He continuously mentions his other grandchildren but leaves out the child Hunter Biden had out of wedlock. It's very disturbing for someone to purposely ignore their grandchild's existence.

NBC News' report continued, discussing a statement made by the FBI:

In a statement, the FBI said it had been cooperative with Comer's request.

“The FBI has continually demonstrated its commitment to accommodate the committee’s request, including by producing the document in a reading room at the U.S. Capitol. This commonsense safeguard is often employed in response to congressional requests and in court proceedings to protect important concerns, such as the physical safety of sources and the integrity of investigations," the statement said.

"The escalation to a contempt vote under these circumstances is unwarranted,” it added.

Now it's time to get out the popcorn and see what happens next. Will this go anywhere at all?
