"Uh...I don't recollect": Merrick Garland accused of LYING about FBI/Hunter Biden

AG Merrick Garland is unable to answer a serious question, turns into a bumbling mess when they ask him about talking to anyone in the FBI about Hunter Biden. Merrick Garland is being accused of lying about this. When people say "I don't recollect" or "I don't recall" that's often a way to NOT answer a question because it could fall back on you in a bad way if the answer is not good. Lawyers will often tell you to say "I don't recall" if you really don't remember, or if you do remember but you don't want to say the answer because it's bad for your case.
