Michigan’s House Judiciary Committee recently reviewed a bill, HB 5425, which aims to prevent registered sex offenders from being employed at locations that primarily serve minors. This includes childcare facilities, summer camps, tutoring services, martial arts and dance studios, as well as youth sports programs.
