SPLC accused of paying undercover people to stage Unite the Right event

This story might sound unbelievable, but it’s not entirely shocking given how the Left often operates. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) started out as an extremist watchdog but later became tied to left-wing activism. Critics have even claimed the SPLC acts like a terror group after it published a list branding several conservative organizations as hate groups. Back in 2012, an armed man named Floyd Lee Corkins tried to attack the Family Research Council’s headquarters, reportedly using the SPLC’s map to plan the assault. Just this Tuesday, the Justice Department announced multiple fraud charges against the organization, alleging it has been paying people large sums to be racist in order to create fake stories.
