Stephen Miller may be coming back into the big picture as Donald Trump's Deputy Chief of Staff. Stephen Miller is an American political advisor who served as a senior advisor for policy and White House director of speechwriting under President Donald Trump during his first term. Born on August 23, 1985, in Santa Monica, California, Miller is known for his hardline stance on immigration policies.
He played a key role in crafting several of Trump's controversial immigration policies, including the "zero tolerance" policy that led to family separations at the U.S.-Mexico border, the travel ban on several majority-Muslim countries, and efforts to reduce the number of refugees accepted into the United States.
Miller has also been involved in Trump's political campaigns and is expected to return to the White House as the deputy chief of staff for policy in Trump's second term. He currently leads the organization America First Legal, which he founded with former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows.
