Secret Service fired at would-be Trump shooter during second assassination attempt

Secret Service fired at the gunman who was trying to shoot and assassinate Donald Trump, according to Fox News.  Donald Trump was getting ready to putt a golfball when the Secret Service agents tackled the former president, and other agents began firing at who they believed was shooting towards Donald Trump. This took place at the Trump International Golf Club. Fox News said the would-be Trump shooter was identified as Ryan Wesley Routh.

In a recent news about the Secret Service, Jesse Watters said one of the top guys of the Secret Service was stepping down. Now we see this happening and some people wonder if the leadership is making bad decisions at the Secret Serice. Jesse Watters said, "ALERT: The Secret Service leader in charge of Presidential protective units, Michael Plati, announced his retirement yesterday. He'll leave the service with full benefits and honors, despite the fact that @realdonaldtrump was nearly killed under his watch. Top sources inside the @SecretService tell Fox that agency brass encouraged him to step aside. The agency should publicly fire Plati and walk him out the door in disgrace, but instead, they tried to bury the story on debate night and are practically throwing the guy a party on his way out."
