Bruce Springsteen suffered a tragic loss and his announcement has circulated across social media at the speed of light. The famous rock star singer has sadly lost his mother at the age of 98. Her name is Adele Ann Springsteen and she was born in the USA, back in 1925, in Brooklyn to be precise.

The famous rocker mourned the loss of his beloved mother by quoting the song “The Wish” – which is from 1998. He quoted it on an Instagram post that notified fans he lost his mother a day prior. The post sadly, yet beautifully said: “It ain’t no phone call on Sunday, flowers or a Mother’s Day card… It ain’t no house on the hill with a garden and a nice little yard. I’ve got my hot rod down on Bond Street I’m older but you’ll know me in a glance. We’ll find us a Little rock ‘n roll bar and we’ll go out and dance.”

One of the things Bruce Springsteen’s mother, Adele, was famous for was saving money to buy him a guitar. That likely sparked his love of music which blossomed into one of the most notable musical careers in American history. EW provided more information on Bruce Springsteen’s mother, which included how she met Bruce’s fater, Douglas. The entertainment news report said:

Born Adele Zerilli on May 4, 1925, in Brooklyn, she married Douglas Springsteen in 1948. Together they raised Bruce and his two sisters in New Jersey, where Adele worked as a legal secretary for several years. The family eventually moved to California, with a 19-year-old Bruce remaining on the East Coast to pursue his music career.

Discussing her son’s fame in a rare interview in 1984, Adele told the San Mateo Times, “There aren’t any words to describe it. What would you do if your kid was smiling at you from every PEOPLE magazine in town?” She added, “All our children are nice children. We’re proud of all of them.”

The report reminded music fans that Adele was often at Bruce Springsteen’s concerts. Sometimes she would even come on stage and dance, becoming a fan favorite that people grew to love. She will be missed by many, more than she’ll ever know.
