Welcome to an epic episode of “The Tucker Carlson Encounter” where he’s interviewing the outspoken Kid Rock. They’re talking about a handful of important and/or fun topics surrounding culture, politics, and America in general. If you know anything about Kid Rock, then you know he’s not going to hold back when he speaks his mind. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him and that’s a good thing, maybe everyone else should be the same way!
This interview talked about the repulsive marketing failure where Bud Light partnered with a man in makeup, insulting real women all over the planet, and how that’s honestly just bad for society, terrible for children to see, and bad for business in general. If it wasn’t clear when Kid Rock was shooting Bud Light cans in a video, then it’s more clear now that he’s saying it all over again. If you missed his first message, then here’s a reminder of what Kid Rock said about Bud Light: “F-ck Bud Light and f-ck Anheuser-Busch. Have a terrific day.”
Kid Rock also talked about what happened with Bud Light in terms of business and losing all that money, closing plants, and then somehow signing a UFC sponsorship deal which some viewed as Bud Lights way to make things better. But it’s probably too late. People are STILL boycotting Bud Light many months later, pushing Modelo into higher popularity in the process.
The UFC deal still baffles me a bit as I was sorta shocked that Dana White signed that deal. Then again, Dana White will take anyone’s money – it’s all green to him, he doesn’t give a single crap who it’s from. My only grip with that was that it would’ve been great to see him tell Bud Light to go f*ck themselves, but in a way – he still did. Dana White took Bud Light’s money and people are STILL boycotting them, so that was kind of like a chess move in that he sorta milked them for the paycheck, but none of us were like “oh cool, Bud Light is ok now!” Nope, we’re still not drinking that beaver urine.
Kid Rock also endorsed Donald Trump in the video, saying Trump was the “greatest president we’ve had” and “Trump’s spirits are always up, and he’s always talking about this country. He likes to win at anything. When we’re golfing, like I won a hundred bucks from him at the UFC. I don’t think he was too happy about it.” Enjoy watching the interview with Tucker Carlson and Kid Rock – and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter while you’re at it.
