Three boys aged 12, 13, and 15 have been charged as adults in the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Florida. Miami police say the group took the girl to a community garden in Overtown, where one of them assaulted her for 30 minutes. The incident happened on June 18, 2025, and while all three were arrested shortly after, records show the 12-year-old, Jusiah Jones, and the 13-year-old, Nelson Nunez, were booked into the Metro West Detention Center on Thursday to face adult charges.

Both appeared in court Friday and were ordered held without bond. The 15-year-old, Xavier Tyson, has an arraignment in adult court scheduled for Friday. Jones faces charges of aggravated battery and false imprisonment, Nunez is charged with sexual battery on a minor by a minor and kidnapping, and Tyson is charged with sexual battery, false imprisonment, and lewd and lascivious conduct with a child.
