Daycare worker throws shoe at special needs 5-year-old on video

Report by Collin Rugg: A daycare worker in Los Angeles was caught on camera taking off her shoe and throwing it at a 5-year-old special needs girl, while other staff members seemed to laugh. The child’s mother is demanding action after the incident. The daycare’s director, Danielle Williams, claimed it was an accident, saying the worker was “throwing shoes into another room.” Regardless, the worker and two others who failed to report the incident were fired. The mother said her daughter told her immediately, but she wasn’t allowed to view the surveillance footage for two weeks.
