Houston RideShare Drivers Indicted After Allegedly Targeting Intoxicated Female Passengers
Disturbing news from Houston: four rideshare drivers, mostly working for Uber, have been federally indicted on kidnapping charges. They’re accused of targeting intoxicated female passengers, changing routes, and sexually assaulting them. The suspects are Abdou Mbacke (still at large), Cesar Martell, Janaka Manatunga, and Barney Steve Flores. According to Fox News, three have been arrested and are in custody, while Mbacke remains on the run. If convicted, they could face life in prison.
