Texas teenager rescued by father, was kidnapped by alleged illegal immigrant

On Christmas Day 2025, a 15-year-old girl was kidnapped at knifepoint in Porter, Texas, while walking her dog. When she did not return home at the expected time, her father used the parental controls on her cell phone to track her location. This led him to a secluded, partially wooded area in Harris County, approximately two miles from their home, where he found her and her dog inside a maroon pickup truck with a partially nude man.

The father successfully helped his daughter escape the vehicle and immediately contacted law enforcement. Following his report, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office arrested 23-year-old Giovanni Rosales Espinoza of Porter, who was identified with the help of witness descriptions. Espinoza has been charged with aggravated kidnapping and indecency with a child, and he is currently held without bond in the Montgomery County Jail.
