This statement was made by Jim O’Neill, the Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), during a historic press conference on December 18, 2025.

O’Neill delivered these remarks while standing alongside HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to announce a sweeping federal crackdown on gender-affirming care that is harming minors and allowing them to think they can change genders.

He framed the administration's new policies as a return to biological reality, stating that "at the root of the evils we face is a hatred for nature as God designed it." The press conference served as the platform for the Trump administration to unveil several significant policy changes aimed at ending what they termed "sex-rejecting procedures" for children.

The doctors, parents, and any other adults pushing the gender stuff on children should be charged with a crime for brainwashing kids. It should be considering a form of abuse, especially the parents who push the children into surgical procedures or other medical treatments that harm the children in the long run. The doctors performing these procedures should lose their license and be jailed.

These actions include a new rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that bars hospitals from receiving federal funding if they provide gender-transition surgeries or hormones to minors, which should never happen for 'identity' purposes. No child should be transitioning.

Additionally, the department announced that it would no longer classify gender dysphoria as a disability and issued a public health notice warning parents that such treatments are not safe or effective for young people.

O’Neill’s comments have been praised from conservative lawmakers and everyone who has common sense.
