Elon Musk helps point out just how bad the indoctrination nonsense really is within our schools and society. Our students, in many schools (not all schools) are being forcefed woke garbage about things that literally no one cares about except for a very small portion of the country.

The debate over "indoctrination" in American schools has been defined by aggressive federal actions aimed at removing specific social and political ideologies from K-12 education - as they should be removed.

Central to this shift is Executive Order 14190, signed by President Donald Trump on January 29, 2025, which directs federal agencies to develop strategies to eliminate what it terms "radical indoctrination."

This order specifically targets the teaching of "gender ideology" and "discriminatory equity ideology" frameworks often associated with Critical Race Theory that the administration argues force children into "victim or oppressor" identities. To enforce these standards, the order reestablishes the 1776 Commission to promote "patriotic education" and threatens to withhold federal funds, including Title I grants, from non-compliant schools.

Legislative and judicial developments have further solidified these policy changes throughout the year. In July 2025, Republican lawmakers introduced the Say No to Indoctrination Act, a bill designed to codify the executive order’s prohibitions into federal law by amending the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.

This followed a pivotal legal ruling on January 9, 2025, in which a federal district court vacated the Biden-era Title IX regulations nationwide. The court found that expanding the definition of "sex" to include gender identity exceeded federal authority, effectively reverting schools to the 2020 Title IX rules that do not include specific protections for LGBTQIA+ students. Yeah kids, there are two genders. If your parents allow you to think otherwise, then your parents are screw ups and bad parents.

These measures have sparked intense national debate and legal pushback from civil rights organizations and educators. Critics argue that the new mandates amount to censorship, creating a "chilling effect" on classroom discussions about American history and systemic inequalities.

Groups like the ACLU have already filed lawsuits, particularly challenging the removal of materials related to slavery, Native American history, and LGBTQ+ identities in schools managed by the Department of Defense. Despite these challenges, federal agencies like the Department of Health and Human Services have begun implementing new policies, such as the July 2025 notice for the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program, ensuring all funded materials reflect "biological reality" and omit "discriminatory equity ideology".
