A Fresno city worker is fighting for his life after a violent and unprovoked attack early Friday morning. Authorities say the suspect, 26-year-old Dyllan Padavona, was arrested on Saturday and was booked into the Fresno County Jail. According to Fresno Police, Padavona has a prior criminal history and had multiple outstanding warrants at the time of the incident. He is now facing a fifth criminal charge — his second felony. The victim, a 57-year-old city electrician, was reportedly attacked from behind while on the job near downtown Fresno. Police say Padavona was dressed in all black when he approached the worker and struck him, causing the man to collapse and hit his head again on the pavement.
