Hurricane recovery Linemen strike after not getting paid, resolution underway

These linemen were striking because they weren't paid. Some of them worked the hurricane recovery efforts, and it's bad when someone who's helping out for a good cause isn't paid like they should be. The good news is that they came to an agreement and will get paid. Issue is resolved for now, but it could've been really bad. WLOS reported on it:

News 13 took several calls on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from linemen who said they were not being compensated, despite having worked long hours over several weeks.
 
They gathered in the old Sears parking lot off South Tunnel Road after the work stoppage began at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
 
The company, Next Era Communications, contracted crews and bucket trucks from across the country beginning in early October to help Western North Carolina rebuild after Helene.
