Dem Rep gets called a LIAR after statement on Trump

Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett is living up to her name by spewing this crock of you know what. She lied about something Donald Trump said, then got called out for it immediately. And of course, she was on MSNBC spouting her lies.

She also posted this on X: "Donald Trump has just asked Vladimir Putin to attack our NATO allies in Europe. Just putting aside the complete moral bankruptcy of that  - 2 of our NATO allies in Europe are nuclear armed.  He’s asking Putin to start WW3 - and he would have the U.S. on the side of Putin."

Correction: Trump said he'd encourage Russia/Putin to do whatever they want, he didn't ask them to attack anyone, but it sounds like he wouldn't stand in anyone's way either. Trump does not want a war with anyone, but if anyone attacked America, then he'd be ready to retaliate if/when warranted. The quote below is from CNBC, giving context to what Trump said:

Speaking at a rally in South Carolina on Saturday, Trump said that, as president, he warned NATO allies that he “would encourage” Russia “to do whatever the hell they want” to a member country that didn’t meet its defense spending guidelines.

Trump, who has a long history of criticizing the trans-Atlantic military alliance, recounted a time when an unspecified president of a NATO member challenged him on his threat not to defend them from a potential Russian invasion if they failed to meet NATO’s target of spending at least 2% of their gross domestic product on the military.

“You didn’t pay, you’re delinquent. … No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills,” Trump said.
