Justice Alito Just Shredded Joe Biden’s DEI Justice, Brown Jackson
The Louisiana congressional maps have been officially released. Last night, the Supreme Court issued a decision in the Louisiana v. Callais case, which struck down the previous maps that limited the application of Section II of the Voting Rights Act (VRA). This decision allows for the creation of congressional districts based on racial quotas.
While the VRA has not been completely eliminated, the ruling does pave the way for redistricting across the South without the fear of legal challenges. The Callais case specifically involved a map that was initially struck down under the VRA.
