The latest ruling pertained case involving Louisiana’s congressional map and has prompted several Republican-led states to review their own redistricting plans.
Earlier this week, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that Louisiana’s 2024 congressional map, which included a second majority-Black district, constituted an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.
