JUST IN: Harrowing Footage Of WH Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting Emerges

President Donald Trump has issued a response after he and nearly his entire cabinet were evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington D.C. on Saturday night. While speaking at the White House Brady Press Briefing Room, President Trump confirmed that the gunman charged an outer security checkpoint outside the event lobby. Security camera footage shared by the president shows the gunman charging forward, seemingly armed with a long gun, towards the checkpoint. A number of Secret Service agents could then be seen drawing their weapons and returning fire. The gunman, identified by multiple reports as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance, California, was then apprehended.
