The Shooter Identified as Cole Thomas Allen – Updated

Cole Thomas Allen, 31, is the alleged shooter. He is a part-time teacher. Allen shot at a Secret Service agent, but he was protected by his vest, and will be okay. Allen was a guest at the hotel. He was reportedly armed with a rifle, a handgun, and multiple knives. These reports change as more information comes from law enforcement or the President. He might have had one rifle. CNN first reported that the shooter was white. Some of the media photos lightened his skin tone. The following is an update. We added videos of interest. President Trump shared a better photo and video of Cole Allen tearing through the lobby, holding a makeshift gun. After he shot the agent, law enforcement tackled him, handcuffed him, and stripped some of his clothes to determine if he had other weapons on him.
