Philly Mayor Cherelle Parker didn’t hold back: “How dare you tell me, as mayor, how to tax you?” She’s proposing a $1-per-ride tax on every Uber and Lyft trip in the city to fund schools, even though the district still has a huge budget gap. It feels like she’s just taking money from taxpayers because she doesn’t know how to manage a budget or spend responsibly.
