The crime occurred at a Chevron station in Fort Myers on April 3rd. Surveillance footage revealed that the attendant, a 51-year-old Bangladeshi mother of two named Yasmin, was brutally bludgeoned to death. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has identified Rolbert Joachin, 40, as the individual arrested for her murder. “FMPD responded to an emergency at a local gas station,” the department wrote. “Surveillance footage showed that Joachin smashed the victim’s car windshield, approached her, and repeatedly hit her in the head with a hammer—violently killing her
