Guy wearing IBEW union hat harasses man in Trump 47 hat

On April 10, 2025, in Boston, a man wearing a hat from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 103 verbally harassed Nicky Miceli, a Trump supporter, for wearing a pro-Trump “47” hat. The incident, captured on video, involved the man shouting profanities, calling Miceli a “Nazi,” and spitting on him while following him down a street in the Fenway neighborhood. Miceli, a Massachusetts GOP state committeeman, reported the encounter to highlight political intolerance, stating he often wears the hat to express free speech. The harasser was later identified as a Massachusetts College of Art and Design student, and the school confirmed they were addressing the behavior, which they said violated their community standards.
