JD Vance drops college football championship trophy

Vice President JD Vance fumbled the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy during a White House event on April 14, 2025, celebrating Ohio State’s 2024 title win. While attempting to lift it with Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson, the trophy’s base detached and fell. The top half was held up for photos, and the trophy was reportedly undamaged.
