Teen killed parents in plot to assassinate Trump

Nikita Casap, a 17-year-old from Waukesha, Wisconsin, was charged with murdering his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51, on February 11, 2025. The FBI alleges the killings were part of a broader plan to assassinate President Donald Trump and overthrow the U.S. government. Casap reportedly shot his parents in their home, lived with their decomposing bodies for weeks, and fled with $14,000, a gun, and their SUV. He was arrested in Kansas on February 28 after a traffic stop.

Investigators found a manifesto on Casap’s devices calling for Trump’s assassination to “save the white race” and spark a revolution, citing neo-Nazi group The Order of Nine Angles. The document included antisemitic writings, praise for Adolf Hitler, and plans to use a drone and explosives. Casap allegedly discussed his intentions with others, including a Russian-speaking contact, and planned to escape to Ukraine. He faces nine state felony charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, and potential federal charges for conspiracy, presidential assassination, and weapons of mass destruction. He’s held on $1 million bond, with an arraignment set for May 7, 2025.
