Kamala speaks without script, Biden looks confused

Kamala Harris was speaking without a script and delivered another word salad, with many people not really sure what the heck she was trying to say. Joe Biden looked confused. This took place as prisoners held captive in Russia were freed and returned home to America.  Kamala said: "This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy."

This is just another one of her word salads where people look at her funny and wonder what she's even trying to say. Trending Politics reported on the return of the Americans: "The arrival of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich and former Marine Paul Whelan was greeted with ecstasy by senior administration officials who coordinated the largest prison swap with Russia and Germany since the end of the Soviet regime. Whelan had been imprisoned since 2018 after Russian authorities convicted him of espionage-related charges, and Gershkovich had been serving a 16-year sentence since being convicted 17 months ago for similar false crimes."

ABC News reported on the prisoners freed: "In a statement on Monday, President Joe Biden said, "Today, five innocent Americans who were imprisoned in Iran are finally coming home." "Siamak Namazi, Morad Tahbaz, Emad Sharghi, and two citizens who wish to remain private will soon be reunited with their loved ones -- after enduring years of agony, uncertainty, and suffering," he said. "I am grateful to our partners at home and abroad for their tireless efforts to help us achieve this outcome, including the Governments of Qatar, Oman, Switzerland, and South Korea."

BBC reported on this too, saying: "Three US citizens who were being held in Russia have arrived at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, as part of the biggest prisoner swap since the Cold War. Video shows Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, former US marine Paul Whelan and Russian-American journalist Alsu Kurmasheva being greeted by the US President, Vice President and their families on the tarmac. The prisoner exchange saw 24 people released in total - 16 detainees from the West and eight Russians released from prisons in the US, Norway, Germany, Poland and Slovenia."
