Harvard Pres resigns amid scandals, left-wingers call it an "attack on diversity"

You really can't make this stuff up. Claudine Gay, the president of Harvard, has resigned amid mounting accusations of plagiarism and controversy based on how she handled the antisemitism on campus since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas conflict. She was only in the position for about six months, so that surely didn't last long! It should be known that plagiarism is heavily frowned upon at Harvard and they have a policy for it. Gay's way of handling the antisemitism added to the cries of plagiarism, giving people two reasons to call for her exit. She wrote a letter and resigned. Cool. No one cares.

Now this is where the clown show really picks up the pace. Leftist mainstream media figures are now calling this a weapon of Conservatives and an "attack on diversity" which is just hilarious. Why won't they talk about how Harvard University has a plagiarism policy and that the president shouldn't be doing things that the rest of the school can't? How about setting an example? And what's up with how she handled the antisemitism? Why not put a foot down on that? But now Gay has resigned and leftist media is acting like the right wing people did something wrong here. It's like the Democrats keep pointing the fingers at the people who are NOT the problem, and letting their own people off the hook for actually doing bad things.
