Woke Snow White Actress stirred controversy with really dumb comments

The date of the video is 11 jun 2022, so it cant be about the recent backlash for an interview in 11 Sept 2022.

Snow White came out in 1937 and that's the last time it should have come out. It's time to stop doing remakes and come up with new ideas, even if they're similar to old movies. You wanna know why? Because Rachel Zegler is a complete idiot who sounds like she hated the original Snow White, but here she is taking cash to play Snow White. Sounds like a hypocrite to me. And the things she said are just beyond stupid. So two things. 1) stop doing remakes of movies, the originals are best and we don't need remakes. 2) everything woke turns to sh*t, just like this dumb movie will become.

In a sound bite that has gone viral, Zegler suggested scenes featuring her co-star Andrew Burnap, who plays Prince Charming, could be cut from the film. In another sound bite that has become the center of discourse, Zegler described her version of Snow White as a leader who doesn’t need a prince to save her. She also told an interviewer that she saw the original film only once before she was cast because she found the film scary as a child.

On TikTok, some users said they think that in an effort to make Snow White more feminist, Zegler inadvertently assigned antifeminist sentiment to the character. Others used the viral discourse to bash Zegler, a Latina actor who has already faced racist backlash to her casting in the live action remake.
