Don Lemon claims he was fired for telling the truth

Former CNN goon Don Lemon said during an interview that he was fired for telling the truth and going by the Constitution, as revealed in a video quoted by Free Beacon. Don Lemon said some wild things in this video and he obviously is standing by them. Or maybe he just sucked and got on people's nerves and that was a good enough reason to let him go. Here's a few quotes from Don Lemon in this new video that's circulating social media.

"I have a responsibility, not only as a journalist but as an American, to tell the truth and to abide by the promises of the Constitution," Lemon told a local Memphis ABC outlet after he was asked about his firing.

"Because the Constitution says 'a more perfect union,' not 'a perfect union.' I’m not a perfect person. No one is. … In order to fulfill the promise of the Constitution, we have to stand up for what is right. We have to stand up for the truth," Lemon said.

Lemon also said that his strong belief that certain individuals, like "liars," "bigots," and "insurrectionists," should not be given a platform is a value that will "carry me forward."

"I think that would be a dereliction of journalistic duty to do those sorts of things," Lemon said. "That is what has gotten me to this point, and that is what is going to carry me forward."

Lemon added that people say they "miss [him] on television" and "are more worried about me than I am about myself."

"I'm fine," Lemon reassured his concerned fanbase.

If there's one thing I personally think, in my grand opinion, it's that Don Lemon is a notorious d-bag and he's part of the reason that CNN ratings look like hot sewer water in comparison to Fox News. For example, you've got Greg Gutfeld over there at Fox New kicking you know what and taking names, Megyn Kelly is doing her thing with her show and making waves in different ways - but what is Don Lemon doing over there at CNN? Well, he got booted to a different show and it sucked right away.
