"I pray to God he wins": Golf legend John Daly wants Trump back

Golf legend John Daly sat down for an interview with Tucker Carlson and heaped praise towards former President Donald Trump. Daly said he prays that Trump will win the 2024 election and talked very highly of Trump as a person, not just a president. Trending Politics reported on the John Daly and Tucker Carlson interview:

Daly’s endorsement of Trump stems from his view of a period of prosperity for the United States. “He was a great president…He’s a great guy once you get to know him,” Daly said.

“I’ve known him since the early 90s… Unbelievable smart individual that people got to get behind.”

“I pray to God he wins… Just for the satisfaction of bringing our country back together, get some common sense going in here again… How great was our country in the four years he was in office?” Daly continued.

Beyond politics, Daly also touched upon Trump’s golfing skills. He humorously critiqued Trump’s chipping, saying he needs to adjust his ball position.

“We all want daddy Trump back…He flew his helicopter in. We played a pro-am. We went out back. We talked a little bit. When he stood up, he says, ‘Mark my words, I’ll be president of the United States one day.'”
