Squad member demands $14 trillion reparations under 'moral' obligation

Democrat Rep. Cori Bush pushes a new effort to demand reparations to the amount of $14 trillion, most of which would probably be spent on starting new rap labels, buying 40s, and shooting dice on the corner. Instead of pushing for Americans to work harder, join job training programs, or go to school to brighten ones future, Cori Bush is just out here demanding handouts to keep lazy people voting for Democrats. Democrats keep pushing for free money and handouts for various things like student loan forgiveness and now free money for people who were never slaves. It's like the Democratic Party doesn't want YOU to be great, they want you to be lazy and settle for being mediocre. It's the party of LOSERS and Cori Bush is nothing but a race-card playing progressive who wants to hold people down, not bring them up.

Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush has introduced new legislation calling for $14 trillion in reparations for Black Americans, in an effort to see the federal government atone for the practice of chattel slavery and hundreds of years of racist policies that followed.

"The United States has a moral and legal obligation to provide reparations for the enslavement of Africans and its lasting harm on the lives of millions of Black people," Bush said in a Wednesday news conference attended by Reps. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., and Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., as well as other stakeholders.

"America must provide reparations if we desire a prosperous future for all," Bush said.
