And second, most people with common sense believe there is no such thing as a transgender child, but only mentally unstable liberal parents who push their far-left gender ideology upon their own kids. If anything, Trump's administration should make that a crime, because it's abusive to the children who are so easily manipulated. These poor kids trust their parents, and the liberal parents are demonizing the children and setting them up for a life of failure.<br /><br /> <div>Budde said, "<em>In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now... There are gay, lesbian and transgender children in Democratic, Republican and independent families, some who fear for their lives... Our God teaches us that we are to be merciful to the stranger, for we were all once strangers in this land.</em>"<br /><br />It's one thing to be merciful, but we should not be merciful to the people who are breaking the law or abusing their children with gender ideology. The woke DEI LA Fire Chief confesses that one of her main missions was to hire more women or whatever. Sounds like she was more concerned about diversity hires instead of fighting fires.

LA appointed its very 1st female, LGBTQ+ fire chief back in 2022. The goal was to recruit more women and gay firefighters, which is a woke DEI practice and will lead to the failure of their department and the people will not be safe. Fast forward to today and look what's going on. The wildfires are a result of Gavin Newsom failing to properly protect his state by using methods of prevention that other areas are using, and having woke DEI policies ruin a fire department with a weak crew. Instead of having the biggest, strongest, men - which is who you need for something like fighting fires - they focused on DEI nonsense and probably put people in danger just to be woke.
