'America 'will be great again': Trump vows to reverse 'reckless' Biden policies

Former President Donald Trump released a new video on Memorial Day weekend that slammed President Joe Biden and his "reckless policies" that are doing unwelcome things to the economy. Trump said if he wins the 2024 election, that he will begin reversing the destructive policies put in place by the failing Biden administration.

Trump said: "As you gather with family and friends this weekend everything is more expensive, a lot more expensive actually because of Joe Biden's reckless policies that have caused soaring energy costs and currency inflation like our country hasn't seen for over 50 years... Taxes are higher than ever... Rates for mortgages and car loans have put the American dream out of reach for countless millions of families... real wages are down 25 months in a row ... it's the longest streak on record. The typical American family this Memorial Day weekend has lost an average of nearly $7,000 a year in purchasing power because of Joe Biden's failed presidency. You could take the worst five presidents in history, and they haven't done the damage that Joe Biden has done."

Those are just little bits of what Trump said, but he wasn't done there. Former President Donald Trump continued, saying: "I want to drill... They don't want to get that liquid gold — we have more than anybody — but we're going to get it. We're going to bring those prices way down... By Memorial Day 2025, our country will be roaring back... We will be well on our way to greatness like our country has never seen before ... not only will we be energy independent but we will soon be energy dominant.... we'll be making so much money, so much that will be reducing debt and lowering your taxes... Our country will be great again; I promise."

'There will be "a huge backlash... in the streets': Pramila and AOC on if White House cuts spending

Democrat Pramila Jayapal was being interviewed about the possibility of the White House agreeing to spending cuts and she suggested there would be a 'huge backlash' in politics, but also 'in the streets' as if she's suggesting that people will protest or even become violent. It appears that the White House is willing to cut spending, but the GOP denied a deal a few days ago - likely because of what else may have been in it. If you know anything about politics, then you know deals are made that often include a lot of smaller deals on the side that must be part of the bigger deal, it's like they don't want to rule on individual things, so they lump things together and it's probably a really bad idea to do that.

According to Axios, this may be exactly why Republicans turned it down:

A House Republican source cited the more than $400 billion increase in discretionary spending over the last decade, compounded by trillions more in pandemic-era stimulus spending, as reasons to decrease spending. Republicans also want to increase funding for defense, which would be frozen under the White House's proposal along with non-defense spending.

Now it seems like some Democrats are going against Joe Biden and the White House. So as usual, people don't agree on things and even the Democrats can't agree with each other. Biden wants to put this on Republicans, but Republicans won't agree on this if defense spending is cut or frozen because Republicans want America safe by means of strong military, if its ever needed. Meanwhile, Biden tried to throw it back on Republicans when he said this the other day:

Well, good evening, everyone. Before turning to the important work we accomplished here at the G7, I want to take a few minutes addressing the budget negotiations that I’m heading back home to — to deal with.

Before I left for this trip, I met with all four congressional leaders, and we agreed the only way to move forward was on a bipartisan agreement.

And we’ve — I’ve done my part. We put forward a proposal that cuts spending by more than a trillion dollars, and on top of the nearly $3 trillion in deficit reduction that I previously proposed through the combination of spending cuts and new revenues.

Now it’s time for the other side to move their — from their extreme positions, because much of what they’ve already proposed is simply, quite frankly, unacceptable.

Squad member demands $14 trillion reparations under 'moral' obligation

Democrat Rep. Cori Bush pushes a new effort to demand reparations to the amount of $14 trillion, most of which would probably be spent on starting new rap labels, buying 40s, and shooting dice on the corner. Instead of pushing for Americans to work harder, join job training programs, or go to school to brighten ones future, Cori Bush is just out here demanding handouts to keep lazy people voting for Democrats. Democrats keep pushing for free money and handouts for various things like student loan forgiveness and now free money for people who were never slaves. It's like the Democratic Party doesn't want YOU to be great, they want you to be lazy and settle for being mediocre. It's the party of LOSERS and Cori Bush is nothing but a race-card playing progressive who wants to hold people down, not bring them up.

NPR reported some of the details, saying:

Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush has introduced new legislation calling for $14 trillion in reparations for Black Americans, in an effort to see the federal government atone for the practice of chattel slavery and hundreds of years of racist policies that followed.

"The United States has a moral and legal obligation to provide reparations for the enslavement of Africans and its lasting harm on the lives of millions of Black people," Bush said in a Wednesday news conference attended by Reps. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., and Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., as well as other stakeholders.

"America must provide reparations if we desire a prosperous future for all," Bush said.

Eric Swalwell dooms Democrats with FOOT-IN-MOUTH video

Democrat Eric Swalwell may have just doomed the Democratic Party with an epic foot-in-mouth situation he recorded on video. As if his allegations with Fang Fang weren't enough to make him one of the most mocked politicians, he doubled down on stupid by saying one thing that could literally cripple one of the things Democrats were pushing for.

Remember when Democrats pushed for student loan forgiveness? And two years later, here we are? Anyway, now that you remember that joke, Eric Swalwell posted a video that talked about PAYING YOUR DEBT/TAB and people were like "oh, like school loans, paying those too!" Swalwell tried to slam dunk on Republicans, but it backfired big time against his entire party and Joe Biden.

Swalwell said on Twitter: "Everyone knows when you rack up a tab you pay the bill. But Republicans prefer to dine and ditch on America’s economy, which will only hurt you. Here’s how."

YES! THAT IS HOW STUDENT LOANS WORK, BRO!!! Forget whatever you're trying to say about Republicans, take your own advice and shove it, you spy-shagging wanker!
