James Comer went on CNN and it seemed like he had Jake Tapper pretty shook over the Hunter Biden situation. The American Tribune reported on this video above, saying the following in a news post:<br /> <blockquote> <p>Comer argued that the charges are “just the tip of the iceberg” and that more is in store for Hunter, and that he thinks the goal behind this indictment might have been to protect him. Comer said, “So, we think this is just the tip of the iceberg. We think there’s many more crimes. and my concern is that [David] Weisse may have indicted Hunter Biden to protect him from having to be deposed in the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.”</p> <p>Tapper, for his part, reacted in mocking disbelief to Comer’s claim, saying, “Ah, yes! Yes! He indicted him to protect him. Yes! The classic rubric. He indicted him to protect him. I got it!” Comer in response, said, “Well, look, this whole — Jake, you know, this whole thing’s been about a coverup. You know you’ve got two serious—” That’s when Tapper cut him off, saying, “That’s why he indicted him, to protect him? To cover it up?”</p> <p>Comer, responding, minimized the charges Hunter is currently facing, saying, “Look, you indict him on the least little thing, the gun charge and not paying taxes —” Tapper again reacted with disbelief, saying, “He’s facing like 17 additional years in prison! These are felonies!” That’s when Comer argued that any other American would be in prison at this point, saying, “Yeah, but look at what he’s done! Anybody else in America would already be in prison.”</p> </blockquote>

Hunter Biden defied a congressional subpoena and now faces the consequences of being held in contempt. MTG spoke briefly about Hunter Biden's situation (video above) and said: "I look forward to following the process for contempt of Congress, which absolutely should be done. Hunter Biden refusing to show up today is unacceptable… Hunter Biden is clearly trying to hide and cover up the money laundering and the abuse of power that he and his father are guilty of."<br /><br /> James Comer announced in a joint statement with Jim Jordan that Hunter Biden could be in some big trouble. The Republicans say Hunter Biden defied the subpoena and will proceed with contempt of Congress proceedings. Trending Politics further reported on Comer's statement:<br /> <blockquote> <p>“Hunter Biden today defied lawful subpoenas and we will now initiate contempt of Congress proceedings. We will not provide special treatment because his last name is Biden. As our committees were today prepared to depose Hunter Biden, he chose to make a public statement on Capitol Hill instead,” the Republican leaders wrote.</p> <p>“Today, the House will vote on an impeachment inquiry resolution to strengthen our legal case in the courts as we face obstruction from the White House and witnesses. Today’s obstruction by Hunter Biden reinforces the need for a formal vote. President Biden and his family must be held accountable for their corruption and obstruction.”</p> </blockquote>

James Comer says his committee has uncovered a $200,000 direct payment to Joe Biden that could be linked to business dealings that could involve his family. As posted on Comer's <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/release/comer-releases-evidence-of-direct-payment-to-joe-biden/" target="_blank">GOV webpage</a>:<br /> <blockquote> <p>House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today announced the committee obtained bank records revealing a $200,000 direct payment from James and Sara Biden to Joe Biden in the form of a personal check. In September, Chairman Comer issued three subpoenas for Hunter and James Biden’s personal and business bank records.</p> <p>In 2018, James Biden received $600,000 in loans from, Americore—a financially distressed and failing rural hospital operator. According to bankruptcy court documents, James Biden received these loans “based upon representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’ and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”</p> <p>On March 1, 2018, Americore wired a $200,000 loan into James and Sara Biden’s personal bank account – not their business bank account. On the same day, James Biden wrote a $200,000 check from this same personal bank account to Joe Biden. </p> </blockquote>

Oversight Chair James Comer believes that the Biden family bank records will show the Biden family received around $20 to $30 million from foreign nationals and it could be linked to potential bribery claims or simply payouts for doing whatever politicians do behind the scenes. Either way, Comer believes he has a strong case and spoke to Maria Bartiromo about it.<br /><br />Comer told Bartiromo, according to a report on MSN, that: "We have more bank records coming in going to exceed $10 million, this week. And I think we will get between $20 and 30 million." The report further spoke about Sen. Chuck Grassley making notes about a specific Burisma executive who allegedly paid a bribe to Joe Biden and kept audio recordings in case he needed an 'insurance policy' for some reason.<br /><br />The report on <a href="https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/comer-says-he-expects-biden-bank-records-to-show-family-accepted-between-20-30-million/ar-AA1cBBgG" target="_blank">MSN further stated</a>: <blockquote> <p>According to a 'highly credible' whistleblower, an internal FD-1023 memo created in 2020 based off information from a well-paid FBI informant apparently details a $5 million 'arrangement' for an exchange of money for policy decisions between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.</p> <p>In a bombshell speech on the Senate floor Monday, the Iowa lawmaker cited what is believed to have been redacted in the FD-1023 file from the FBI on the alleged payment.</p> <p>Grassley said the foreign national has 15 recordings of phone calls with Hunter and two with Joe.</p> <p>He claims they were kept as an 'insurance policy' in case the foreign national was in a 'tight spot.'</p> <p>The form also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden, Grassley continued.</p> </blockquote>

James Comer is also talking about possible whistleblowers who are willing to speak against President Joe Biden and his family, but it seems like Comer ran into a little problem. Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke about a whistleblower too, and she said the one she's talking about is not missing. What's actually going on here? We don't really know.<br /><br />Charlie Kirk said on Twitter: "James Comer, Chair of House Oversight, says 9 of the 10 whistleblowers that they’ve identified are missing! They’re either currently in court, they’re currently already jail, or they’re missing. He also says he knows who is intimidating them."<br /><br /> <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-insists-whistleblower-not-missing-biden-family-probe-1800237" target="_blank">Newsweek</a> spoke about it for a bit during a news article that said the following:<br /><br />Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has said that a whistleblower in a GOP investigation into the Biden family is not missing. "Just to be clear. Our whistle blower for Joe Biden is not missing," Greene, who is on the House Oversight Committee, tweeted. Her tweet was in response to a clip of Rep. James Comer, the committee's chairman, saying in an interview on Sunday that Republicans had lost track of the primary informant in a probe into the Biden family's involvement in an alleged bribery scheme.<br /><br />A GOP Oversight spokesperson told Newsweek on Monday that Comer was referring to is another whistleblower.<br />SUBSCRIBE NOW FROM JUST $1 ><br /><br />"Many key witnesses to the Biden family's influence-peddling schemes are either in court, potentially facing prison, or missing. The report claims that Joe Biden's family took as much as $10 million from foreign nationals in China and Romania during the time Joe Bide was vice president to Barack Obama. The Republican lawmakers are part of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and they were showing payments that went to Hunter Biden in what many are saying was a web of shell companies. Now people want to know if President Joe Biden was lying when he said he 'never' discussed business matters with his disgraced son Hunter Biden.<br /><br />Rep. Nancy Mace referred to the alleged payment system as an act of 'financial gymnastics' including payments from foreign companies to members of Joe Biden's family and business associates.
