Greg Gutfeld can't contain himself as Babylon Bee’s headlines keep coming true

'Gutfeld!' panelists react to several stories from the satire site the Babylon Bee coming true. Greg Gutfeld is one of the most watched people on Fox News. He and his team talk about various topics while adding some comic relief to their narrative.

Fox News’ late-night host Greg Gutfeld got some more good news this week as the new ratings were published for his industry. Like the entire Fox line-up, Gutfeld’s two programs are both taking no prisoners in their time slots when compared to competitor networks.
“Gutfeld! was the 6th highest-rated show overall on cable news in total viewers and the 3rd highest-rated in the key 25-54 age demographic — behind Tucker Carlson and The Five — which was co-hosted by Greg Gutfeld. In the 11 p.m. hour, Gutfled! crushed its cable news competition as CNN brought in only 371,000 total viewers and MSNBC scored 972,000,” Mediaite reported.

Throughout 2022, Nielsen Media Research showed that Gutfeld! averaged 2.1 million viewers, which is astounding especially for a new late-night show that broke the mold on a news network.

“The size of that viewing audience bests both NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ and ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and also consistently trumps such cable rivals as Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ and HBO’s ‘Last Week Tonight’ and ‘Real Time With Bill Maher,’” the report said.

Even Vox, which is known as more of a liberal-leaning media outlet, sang Gutfeld’s praises: “The biggest comedy show on late-night right now is not on ABC or NBC or CBS or Fox. It’s not on Comedy Central. It’s certainly not streaming. It’s on Fox News, and its name is ‘Gutfeld!’”

Gutfeld and Maher team up against people who get offended by everything

Greg Gutfeld and Bill Maher teamed up to scourge the social media mob who sits around all day complaining about everything. One topic they covered is the people who get offended by everything and how there are certain movies they couldn't make today thanks to the weak-minded people. How many movies have you watched years ago that could not be remade today because of activists, protesters, and people who get offended by everything? Blazing Saddles, one of the funniest movies of all time, would be threatened by cancel culture if Mel Brooks tried to make it today.

Daily Caller quoted the duo:

Maher then said that any movie made ten years ago or earlier likely contains something “offensive” to modern sensibilities, but was once funny. “When you hear it now, in 2023, you hunch up, not because of it in itself, but because you know the reaction it will cause,” Maher said. “You know you’re going to have to listen to people b-tching about this, and posturing and pretending they’re so offended and it’s so terrible and that’s what’s going to be so gross.”
The video posted to YouTube by the Club Random Podcast with the description:

Bill Maher and Greg Gutfeld randomly riff on the terrifying thing about Chat GPT, why Bill doesn’t google people, the terrible quality phones bring out in people, losing audiences in comedy, Greg’s philosophy for staying married, why Rain Man couldn’t be made today, the mob trying to wreck peoples’ lives, the time Greg got mistaken for Harvey Levin, Greg’s career ascent, and Bill and Greg’s epiphany about certain kinds of “mature” movies.

Gutfeld puts Geraldo in his place with only six words

Geraldo got put in his place by Greg Gutfeld after Geraldo made one of the most totally incorrect statements he could imagine. Geraldo was pushing gun control commentary when he incorrectly said what the AR in AR-15 stands for. Geraldo said it stands for automatic rifle which is completely incorrect. The AR in “AR-15” rifle stands for ArmaLite, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. “AR” does NOT stand for “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle.”

Greg Gutfeld: "What does 'AR' stand for?"

Geraldo Rivera: "It is automatic rifle."

Greg Gutfeld: "No, that's not what it is."

Geraldo Rivera: "All I know is AR-15s have no place in American society."

It would make sense for Geraldo to do some research on the things he wants to shun from society. The guy doesn't even know what the name stands for, but he wants it out of society. It doesn't help his argument when he makes mistakes like this.

Either way
