Democracy, to me, is the idea that voters can chose the candidate of their choice. That the people will decide. And when you look at how Kamala Harris became the nominee, then you'll see that the same people calling Donald Trump a threat to democracy are the ones who actually threaten it. Democrats love to FALSELY say Donald Trump is a threat to Democracy and here we are with Kamala Harris as the Democrat candidate chosen in the most undemocratic way possible. She didn't get a single vote, and it was literally the most undemocratic way to select a nominee for their side of politics. An article on <a href="https://theconversation.com/democratic-partys-choice-of-harris-was-undemocratic-and-the-latest-evidence-of-party-leaders-distrusting-party-voters-236002" target="_blank">The Conversation</a> said the following, and a lot more, to point it all out:<br /><br /> <blockquote> <div>You may not know that when you vote in a presidential primary, you aren’t technically voting for the candidate, but for delegates pledged to vote for that candidate at the party’s national convention. Even when a candidate gets enough of these delegates to win, their candidacy becomes official only when the delegates vote at the convention.</div> <div> </div> <div>This year, something unusual is happening, because almost all of the delegates who were elected in the primaries to vote for Joe Biden are instead voting for Harris – despite the fact that she was not on any primary ballot.</div> </blockquote>

President Joe Biden used today's speech to spend time talking bad about former President Donald Trump and his supporters. It was a divisive speech that doesn't serve much of a purpose other than to attack the other party. As president, Joe Biden should be working to unite people. If he's on the campaign trail, then he should focus on the good things he may have done, not spending time attacking the other side. It doesn't do anything but divide Americans and put them against each other.<br /><br />Joe Biden is also spewing the LIE that Democracy is on the ballot. No one's "Democracy" is in danger if Donald Trump wins the 2024 election. In fact, if Trump wins the election, that is actual proof that Democracy is in action, because the American people have spoken. The only time Democracy is at risk is when places like Colorado try removing Donald Trump from the ballot, taking away the voters choice to vote for their preferred candidate. That is literally what Democrats are doing, but they're trying to say Trump is the one putting things at risk. If you put all their partisan nonsense aside, then you'll see what's really going on here folks. <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/joe-biden-marks-3-years-since-jan-6-2021-capitol-riot-valley-forge/" target="_blank">CBS News reported</a> on Biden's speech:<br /> <blockquote> <p>"Whether democracy is still America's sacred cause is what the 2024 election is all about," Mr. Biden said. "The choice is clear. Donald Trump's campaign is about him, not America, not you. Donald Trump's campaign is obsessed with the past, not the future. He's willing to sacrifice our democracy to put himself in power. Our campaign is different."</p> <p>By "trying to rewrite the facts" of Jan. 6, Trump is "trying to steal history the same way he tried to steal the election," Mr. Biden claimed.</p> <p>"Trump's mob wasn't a peaceful protest; it was a violent assault," Mr. Biden insisted. "They were insurrectionists, not patriots. They weren't there to uphold the Constitution; they were there to destroy the Constitution."</p> <p>It is becoming increasingly clear that Mr. Biden expects the former president to prevail in the GOP primaries and he will face his 2020 opponent again in the 2024 general election. Mr. Biden has long criticized the GOP front-runner in speeches instead of criticizing others in the Republican field.</p> <p>"Democracy is on the ballot. Your freedom is on the ballot," Mr. Biden said.</p> </blockquote>
