Seems like he's finally leaving 'Meet the Press' after nine years and over 430 episodes. It's somewhat unclear if Chuck Todd is being forced out of the job or he's leaving for something better. People are discussing this and wondering if he's being demoted, if it has anything to do with ratings, etc. Some of that is unclear, but new details could emerge in the future when Kristen Welker officially takes over on 'Meet the Press.'<br /><br />

She could be one of the most talentless people in politics and she always sounds confused, unprepared, and it's unclear what she actually does on a daily basis. This is what America gets for having a diversity hire as the vice president.

Chuck Todd announced on Twitter that this will be his final summer on Meet the Press. The post included the video and the following: "Today we close our show with an announcement from @chucktodd: "While today is not my final show, this will be my final summer here at Meet the Press. ...  I am really proud of what this team and I have built over the last decade."<br /><br />Chuck Todd made it seem like he does not want to overstay his welcome after nine years of hosting the show. It's unclear if there's something else going on behind the scenes, such as people simply not liking his show or ratings issues leading to him peacefully leaving the show. The details remain a bit murky.<br /><br />Todd says in the video:<br /><br />“The key to survival of any of these incredible media entities … is for leaders not to overstay their welcome. I’d rather leave a little bit too soon than stay a tad bit too long... While I may be leaving this chair, I’m still going to help NBC navigate and coach colleagues in this 2024 campaign season and beyond... But this is also an important time for me personally. I’ve let work consume me for nearly 30 years. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t wake up before 5 or 6 a.m., and as I’ve watched too many friends and family let work consume them before it was too late, I promised my family I wouldn’t do that."<br /><br />Chuck Todd's plans remain unclear and it seems like he's not exactly sure either.
