Chicago Mayor Johnson is allegedly giving race-based grants to black residents as a form of slavery reparations. He said: "Investing in blacks is not a crime." However, investing in people based on color is racist and unfair to others who would also qualify.

Chicago residents may want to look at the people in their neighborhood and tell them to stop stealing. These residents are accusing Walgreens of targeting black areas after closures of MULTIPLE stores plagued by crime. How can a store stay open if they keep getting robbed. Look within, folks. Stop robbing them. You're making it harder for the residents who aren't scumbags.

One person was detained after a woman reportedly found 'explosive materials' - however one report says the stuff was fake. But, was it? The report on <a href="https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/bronzeville-apartment-suspicious-package-massive-police-response/3644786/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBC Chicago</a> said: <blockquote>An apartment building in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood was evacuated after someone one "explosive material" inside a unit, sources told NBC Chicago. According to those sources, the building in the 500 block of East 33rd Street was evacuated after a worker found the materials inside an apartment on the sixth floor. An investigation revealed that the explosives were fake, as was a timing device found inside of the apartment. It is unclear what the origin of the fake items was, or why the tenant possessed the items.</blockquote>

Some South Side Chicago residents were speaking out against the Kamala Harris and Tim Walz ticket, saying they want Donald Trump overall. They think he can help fix their town and get things flowing again. One resident suggested everything dried up and hasn't gotten any better while Joe and Kamala were running the country, so why would anyone vote for them again? Chicago businesses are starting to board up before the DNC takes place. The businesses are afraid of looters ruining their shops, stealing, and causing unrest. <a href="https://www.nbcchicago.com/dnc-chicago-2024/downtown-chicago-businesses-board-up-amid-worries-of-unrest-during-dnc/3524200/" target="_blank">NBC Chicago</a> reported on this:<br /> <blockquote> <div>The Garland Building, located at Wabash Avenue and Washington Street, was adorned by plywood sheets and two-by-fours on Friday - as were several other buildings in the Loop on Friday. One business owner, who said he's no stranger to looting and smash-and-grab burglaries, decided to take precautions as well.</div> <div> </div> <div>“You get that phone call in the middle of the night and your heart jumps out of your chest," Scott Schapiro, the owner of Syd Jerome, a menswear shop at 20 N. Clark St., said.</div> <div> </div> <div>Schapiro said he had to pick up the pieces four separate times after his shop was hit by looters and vandals.</div> </blockquote>

You really can't make this stuff up. A CBS News affiliate in Chicago was recording video when they noticed people nonchalantly looting a Footlocker behind them. The front window of the store was smashed out and people were just walking in and taking merchandise, then walking out without paying for it. In other words - looting in the middle of the day on live TV.  The people walked away with the merch, not even caring if the cops would show up and didn't care they were on camera. <a href="https://www.mrctv.org/blog/brittany-m-hughes/chicago-reporters-shocked-they-watch-thugs-loot-footlocker-broad-daylight" target="_blank">MRC TV reported</a> on this too, saying:<br /><br /> <blockquote> <div>We’re told that no police are on the scene right now, and Dave, we can actually see people…” the baffled female reporter begins, as three looters nonchalantly load up their arms with shoeboxes and calmly walk away with the stolen merch.</div> <div> </div> <div>“They’re just taking…that guy right there has four boxes, that guy’s walking out with two boxes, looking right at our cameraman,” the other reporter takes over, saying the theft was occurring in broad daylight in 33rd and King Drive.</div> </blockquote> <div> </div>

Chicago's Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson was confronted over his use of $30,000 on hair and makeup for himself, paid for with campaign funds according to multiple news reports. The news report on <a href="https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/chicago-politics/johnson-campaign-reportedly-used-30k-in-campaign-funds-on-hair-makeup-expenses/3460252/" target="_blank">NBC Chicago</a> said the following:<br /> <blockquote> <p>When NBC Chicago’s Mary Ann Ahern spoke to the mayor in a one-on-one interview in Aug. 2023, his make-up artist applied makeup on him before the interview. That artist is paid through campaign donations, as is a hair salon in the Austin neighborhood, just three doors down from his former office as a Cook County board commissioner.</p> <p>According to the Sun-Times, Johnson expensed more than $32,000 from Jan. 2023 through the end of March 2024. His make-up artist was paid $28,000, with the hair salon receiving approximately $4,000.</p> <p>By contrast, campaign records show former Mayor Lori Lightfoot expensed $8,000 for hair and makeup to her campaign.</p> </blockquote>

An illegal immigrant living in Chicago has been arrested for the tenth time in 10 months according to a local news outlet. His name is Carlos Mavarez Viloria and he reportedly lives in the Standard Club migrant shelter in Chicago. His tenth arrest was a felony and now he's in jail, but many people are wondering why a migrant arrested this many times hasn't been deported yet. Should America let someone live in the country if they break the law this much?
