Here we go: Biden 'advisers' reveal truth about concerns over president's age, energy levels

Sources close to the administration have reported that advisors to President Biden are growing increasingly concerned about his capacity to keep up with the rigorous demands of his role, citing worries about his age and energy levels. The concerns center on the President's purported struggles with holding events during mornings, nights, and weekends, which are said to be posing a challenge. Reports suggest that Biden's advisors are becoming anxious about this situation.

For a while now, there has been much speculation and scrutiny surrounding the 80-year-old President's age and physical capability to fulfill his duties. Numerous critics have raised concerns about his stamina to keep up with the demanding nature of his job, and it seems that even his own team is apprehensive about his ability to keep up with the pace.

At a crucial juncture for the administration, concerns about President Biden's age and physical fitness have surfaced, coinciding with mounting pressure on several fronts. These include the ongoing crisis at the southern border, the rise in inflation, and an upcoming re-election bid. Moreover, tensions between the US and Russia have been escalating, with the risk of nuclear war reportedly on the rise, further adding to the challenges faced by the administration.

According to Axios:

Behind the scenes: Biden’s close advisers say he’s mentally sharp. But even some of them concede his age has diminished his energy, significantly limiting his schedule.

-- Many White House officials say they’re amazed at Biden’s stamina — often adding the caveat: “for his age.”

-- Some White House officials say it’s difficult to schedule public or private events with the president in the morning, in the evening, or on weekends: The vast majority of Biden’s public events happen on weekdays, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Last month, Jen Psaki, former White House Secretary, made a remark regarding Biden's speech on the Silicon Valley banking crisis. She commented that it was uncommon for the President to make an announcement at 9 AM, implying that he usually does not engage in any activity during that time.

Detractors of the Biden administration have asserted that the apprehensions about the President's age and physical vitality only serve as additional proof that he is not suited for leading the nation.

They highlight his frequent gaffes and memory lapses as evidence of his unfitness for office.

On Thursday, during a White House event commemorating "bring your kid to work day," Biden appeared to struggle with recalling the location of one of his grandchildren, which a young girl was quick to correct, further fueling such criticisms.

Despite the growing apprehensions, Biden and his team have maintained a resolute stance, asserting that he is fully capable of fulfilling the demands of his role. They contend that the President's extensive decades-long experience in public service render him uniquely qualified for the position, and express confidence in his ability to confront the challenges ahead.
