It's probably been 20 years since I've done a Fuck You Friday and here we are!

Have you ever been somewhere relaxing and just one person ruined it?

That's me. Today. Right now.

I'm sitting at a local Panera Bread where I sip some tea or coffee and get some work done for the people who trust me with their business. It's my happy place. They've got music. Comfy chairs. And even a little fire place to make you all warm and fuzzy.

But low and behold, this middle-age woman fires up her shitty laptop for a Teams meeting that has now lasted an hour and she hasn't shut up since she started talking.

I don't recall her breathing.

She hasn't eaten.

Not a single sip from a cup.

She just talks and talks and talks and she does it very loud.

I want to lean over and be like, "look lady, we're not part of your meeting and we don't care about the upside down pineapple you're talking about, so could you please shut the fuck up?"

But I'm nice, so I'll just suffer and eavesdrop on her conversation.

It really doesn't bother me that much, but I've always believed that people in public should have some sort of etiquette in a restaurant.

Work quietly and don't take your pants off in public. That's all we ask for.

So for today, the loud Teams meeting lady is my Fuck You Friday.
