Hunter Biden is being threatened by potential jail time in Arkansas after a judge ordered him to appear in court, in person, to face potential contempt proceedings. Hunter Biden is accused of hiding finances during the child support dispute with Lunden Alexis Roberts, the woman Hunter Biden fathered a child with out of wedlock. Their child, Navy Joan Roberts, is the child constantly ignored by President Joe Biden who refuses to acknowledge Hunter Biden's biological daughter. With Lunden Alexis Roberts.

It was Judge Holly Lodge Meyer who threatened the jail time and issued the order for Hunter Biden to appear on July 10 in person to explain why he shouldn't be held in contempt of court during the battle with Lunden Alexis Roberts' lawyers who claimed Hunter was not disclosing all information on his finances, potentially ignoring the judge's orders, according to the Washington Examiner. The report further stated:

The judge said the lawyers for Roberts were seeking, and she would herself consider, “punishment or sanctions” against Hunter Biden, including “incarceration for civil contempt until such time as the defendant fully answers discovery for a period of up to six months" and "incarceration for criminal contempt for a period of up to six months."

Meyer added that Hunter Biden “is hereby given notice that his ‘ability to pay’ is or may become a critical issue in the contempt proceeding” and that the president’s son “will have an opportunity at the hearing to respond to statements and questions about his financial status.” The judge added that Hunter Biden “is subject to an express finding by the court that he has the ability to pay.”

Navy Joan Roberts was born in Arkansas in 2018, which is party why the issues are being handled there. Washington Examiner points out that Hunter Biden was currently dating his late brother's widow, Hallie Biden, when Hunter's out of wedlock child was born to Lunden Alexis Roberts, a former dancer. Hunter Biden tried to deny it was his child, but the paternity DNA tests determined he was a liar.

Hunter Biden originally settled his case for $2.5 million in 2020, but Washington Examiner reports they reopened the case in hopes that Hunter Biden could get a lower payment. Both Joe Biden and Hunter Biden have been criticized for how they're handling this case and treated Joe Biden's latest granddaughter.
