Putin suggests CIA blew up Nord Stream, doesn’t have an alibi

Tucker Carlson’s interview with Putin may be triggering Democrats across the planet after what the Russian leader just said. Tucker Carlson traveled all the way to Russia to interview Putin, not knowing if he’ll end up detained like that alleged spy reporter from the Wall Street Journal, but seems like Tucker may be OK. Tucker asked Putin about who may have blown up the Nord Stream pipeline and we got to see video of Putin’s answer. And let me just tell ya, I ended that video thinking Putin was like my neighbor or my best friend.

Putin joked with Tucker Carlson, saying maybe Tucker did it. Carlson joked back, saying he was busy that day, wasn’t there to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline. Putin responded by suggesting that the CIA doesn’t have an alibi for that day, and maybe it was them or someone connected to NATO. Putin suggested for people to think who would have an interest in blowing up the Nord Stream – but also who is capable? Who can make it that far into the water and set devices or do whatever they did to blow things up and disrupt the gas flow? Who?? Think about it…

Reuters did a report on the Nord Stream explosion that had some good information. They were also unable to identify anyone willing to take credit for the Nord Stream explosion, or someone caught doing it, and the people or countries who were asked about it clearly all denied participating. The Reuters report was good, but felt like the Spider Man meme where three Spidey’s are pointing at each other. The report said:

WHO IS BEHIND THE EXPLOSIONS?
Some U.S. and European officials initially suggested Moscow had blown up its own pipelines, an interpretation dismissed as “idiotic” by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Instead, Putin has blamed “Anglo-Saxons”, using Kremlin’s term for the U.S. and Britain, without providing evidence. It has also blamed Ukraine. All three countries deny any role.

The White House last year dismissed a blog post by a U.S. investigative journalist alleging Washington was behind explosions as “utterly false and complete fiction.”

The U.S., opens new tab and German media have reported that the yacht could have been used by a Ukrainian or pro-Ukrainian group, citing leaked intelligence reports and people familiar with official investigations. Kyiv has repeatedly denied any involvement.
