House passes 'Laken Riley Act' despite 170 Democrats saying NO

The House passed the "Laken Riley Act" in hopes to crack down on illegal immigrant criminals who keep breaking the law in various ways. This is in response to what happened when a 22-year-old nursing student named Laken Riley was killed by an illegal immigrant criminal. That man was previously arrested for other charges, then later broke the law again when he committed murder.

Many people believe illegal immigrants who get arrested should be deported. After all, they're already illegally in America, so why aren't they deported for that? Now some of them are in the country breaking other laws too, like killing people. Many politicians want this to change, so the 'Laken Riley Act' was created in hopes to deport illegal immigrant criminals, however there was 170 Democrats who objected to this. Sickening, right? Daily Caller reported on what happened to Laken Riley and how the vote went:

Riley, aged 22, was killed on Feb. 22 after being allegedly attacked while running in a forested area near the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, Georgia, with the suspect arrested and charged with her murder, Jose Antonio Ibarra, being a Venezuelan national who allegedly entered the United States illegally and was released after being initially detained. The Laken Riley Act would require the federal government to detain foreign nationals who commit “burglary, theft, larceny, or [a] shoplifting offense” as well as grant states to sue the federal government for non-enforcement of certain aspects of immigration law, and passed the House by a vote of 251 yeas to 170 nays

It is very disturbing to think 170 people are that far out of touch that they would rather keep criminals in the country. Don't we have enough criminals here already? Why are these 170 Democrats voting to keep more criminals here, when they're here illegally to begin with? I think we all know the answer to that.
