Americans need to increase their vocabulary, or at least learn to use alternative and more descriptive words for appreciating reality.

The word shouldn't be 'liberal', but 'amoral'. They use the word 'liberal' so as to associate sexually depraved causes with genuinely laudable ones like the fight to end racism for instance.

So embedded in the word 'liberal' is the idea of good, empathetic, and they use it to refer to LGBT so as to demonise those whom are against it. 'Progressive' itself is a nonsense word as it can refer to a forward movement into either good or evil, heaven or hell. Equality between races can be progressive and liberal, but not amoral. But normalising LGBT is not necessarily progressive or liberal if it is amoral.

So, to reiterate, with regards to LGBT, the word should be 'amoral', not 'liberal' or 'progressive'.
